The Playing
Field is owned by the Parish. It was left to us by the Verney family in memory of their son Stanley and the others
who lost their lives in the second world war. It is
maintained by the Parish Council using part of the precept which all you
parishioners pay and a grant from the NDDC. It provides a young children's play area which is
fenced off, a football pitch and a grassed area with some trees and seating |
